During the ministry in Ashok Nagara, Bengaluru, Evg. K. V. Jose with a vision to evangelize Bengaluru and its suburbs started the outstation work at Malleshpalya on January 14th, 1996. The help received from Pr. K. J. Mathew and family is memorable. During that period, Late. Bro. Arjun, a Catholic, extended his help by providing a room for worship, at the Holy Cross School, Malleshpalya.
From May 9th, 1996, Evg. K. V. Jose fully focused his ministry at Malleshpalya. On this day the worship was lead by Pr. T. D. Thomas. About 12 members attended the meeting along with Pr. K. V. Mathew & family, Bro. Reji & family, Bro. Samuel. M. & family, Bro. Jose George, Bro. Joy, Bro. Chenkuttan & family and a few sunday school students.

Evg. Joseph, Bommanahalli, was the first to donate for the church site. Another prominent contribution for the church site was Soji aunt & Samson uncle. In accordance with this the church members and well wishers collected a good amount for the church building.
With all these cheerful contribution by the Grace of God, we brought a site at LBS Nagara, in the name of IPC Karnataka Region on April 2nd, 2001. To raise the prayer hall on this site, the believers of the church were in prayers without ceasing.
On September 1st, 2002, Pr. K.O. Varghese (Peechi Master) performed the “Ground Breaking” ceremony and Late. Pr. T. T. Joseph (former President of IPC Karnataka Region) laid the foundation stone.
Evg. K. V. Jose, had an opportunity to visit Gulf countries with the initiative of Bro. T. T. Thomas, Kuwait. The fund received was used entirely for the purpose of church building. It took nearly 8 months to complete the construction of the building.
June 29th, 2003 remains as a historical date in the books of IPC Charisma Prayer Hall, as the church as dedicated and inaugurated by Late. Pr. T. T. Joseph (former President of IPC Karnataka Region). The meeting was chaired by Pr. T. D. Thomas and chief Guest being Pr. K.O. Varghese (Peechi Master) and Pr. V. D. John and Pr. K. S. Joseph grace the occasion.
During the initial days, even though the church started with few a members, it grew in faith to hundreds with many outstations to its account. God has led us with his grace and mercy till this day. God made us grow from few to a large congregation.
